Meet The Doctors

Dr. Gaby R. Cosgrove

Dr. Cosgrove maintains memberships in many professional organizations including the Academy of General Dentistry, California Dental Association, Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity, and The Beverly Hills Academy of Dentistry. She is also a member of the esteemed Pierre Fauchard Academy. Dr. Cosgrove currently serves on the Peer Review Committee of the Los Angeles Dental Society and has been an active member of this committee for the past 4 years. Dr. Cosgrove is committed to staying on the top of her field and has completed many hours of continuing education including the Esthetic Continuum at UCLA Dental Schools and the Kois Series of Courses.

She was born in Johannesburg, South Africa, and grew up in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. After completing her undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania she decided to follow in the footsteps of her father and received her dental degree from Temple University School of Dentistry. Upon graduation, she completed a General Practice Residency at the Long Beach Veterans Administration Medical Center. Dr. Cosgrove has been in private practice since 1996.

Dr. Cosgrove and her husband Danny, a physician, have two children. In her spare time, Dr. Cosgrove is dedicated to social action and is an active member and leader within her community.

Dr. Lauren Povitz

Dr. Povitz was born and raised in Montreal, Canada. She received her undergraduate degree in Psychology at McGill University, then continued her studies at McGill's dental school, graduating with distinction in 2011 as a doctor of dental medicine. The following year, Dr. Povitz completed a General Practice Residency. She has worked in private practice since 2011. 

Dr. Povitz was a young leader in the Montreal dental community as a member of numerous professional associations. She sat on the executive committee for the Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity and looks forward to being involved in many of the dental organizations here in Los Angeles. Dr. Povitz attends continuing education courses to continually enrich her knowledge and skills to best benefit her patients as the field advances.

Outside of the office, Dr. Povitz enjoys spending time with her husband, 2 sons, and daughter. 

Dr. Justin Rubin

Dr. Rubin was born and raised in Atlanta, GA. From a young age, Dr. Rubin has been fascinated by the intricate beauty of the human smile and the profound impact it has on individuals' lives. This passion inspired him to pursue a career in dentistry, where he dedicated himself to learning the art and science of oral health care. He attended the University of Georgia, where he earned Honors degrees in both Biology and Psychology. Afterward, he traveled to the Midwest to study at the University of Michigan to receive his DDS degree. His rigorous training equipped him with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages.

Dr. Rubin has enjoyed settling into life in the West Los Angeles community. He maintains membership in numerous professional organizations and local study clubs, including the California Dental Society and Los Angeles Dental Society. Dr. Rubin understands that each patient is unique, with their own set of dental needs and concerns, and he is passionate about staying at the forefront of dental innovation and continuously expanding his knowledge and skills.

When not at the office, Dr. Rubin has enjoyed learning about his new Los Angeles community, including all the beaches, restaurants, sports, and concert venues the city has to offer.
